 Just like babies, puppies and kittens require additional medical care within their first year of life to get off to a healthy start. 

At Midway Animal Hospital, Dr. Huff and our team will give your new furry friend a complete physical examination, appropriate immunizations, and deworming medication. We recommend testing your precious new family member for intestinal parasites by bringing in a fresh fecal sample to us between weeks 8 and 12. 

Once your puppy or kitten's 1st checkup is complete, you'll return a few more times in the following months to complete their vaccine boosters.   The first year of life, puppies and kittens need these shots to protect them from dangerous diseases.
